Cu siguranţă epilarea nu este una din cele mai plăcute activităţi. Ne ia timp, trebuie să fim atente ce metode urmăm şi care să nu ne irite pielea. Din fericire, există varianta epilării definitive. Cu toate acestea, e bine să ştim ce este mit şi ce realitate. Epilarea definitivă se realizează fie cu lumina intens pulsată (IPL), fie cu laserul. Cercetătorii şi-au dat seama că aceste aparate scap foarte mult viteza de creştere a firului de păr şi ard foliculii piloşi sensibili la fascicolul luminos.
Rădăcinile groase
Rădăcinile groase şi profunde nu pot fi însă arse nici chiar după mai multe şedinţe. Pentru a avea un rezultat foarte bun, trebuie să avem contrastul dintre piele şi culoarea părului cât mai bun, dar importantă este şi grosimea firului de păr.
Firul subţire
Este foarte greu să epilăm părul foarte subţire şi fin, mai ales dacă este şi deschis la culoare. Pentru foliculii rezistenţi la flash şi pentru părul foarte fin, cea mai bună epilare este cea diatermică. Această procedură presupune inserarea unui ac foarte subţtire, până la rădăcina firului de păr, prin care trece un curent electic. Se distruge astfel rădăcina şi se realizează epilarea mult dorită.
Întreţinere
Prin urmare, pentru a fi mulţumite, porniţi de la premiza că nu toate firele de păr dispar după tratamentul cu laser sau IPL. Ideal este să asociaţi laserul şi IPL-ul cu câteva şedinţe diatermice pentru a le veni de hac şi firelor de păr rezistente. După ciclul standard de 12 şedinţe, este foarte important să aveţi câte o şedinţă de întreţinere la interval de câteva luni.

Buna ziua dna dr Adriana Fratilescu, la varsta de 18 ani m-am hotarat sa-mi fac o epilare definitiva a mustatii, imi aduc aminte cu groaza de asta datorita faptului ca la a 4 -a sedinta mi s-a ars pielea si aratam groaznic, era vara si a trebuit sa stau ascunsa cateva luni bune ptr ca imi era rusine cum aratam. mi s-a dat o crema de dna dr care mi-a facut epilarea dar nu a dat rezultate. dupa aceasta sedinta am incetat sa mai continui epilarea, mi se spusese ca trebuie sa fac vreo 8 sedinte. avand tenul creol si acum am o parte mai alba unde am fost arsa insa folosesc fondul te ten sa o acopar, iar fire de par au mai crescut, mai putine ce-i drept si folosesc benzi epilatoare. am ramas cu o frica ptr epilarea definitiva si nici acum nu inteleg de ce mi s-a intamplat asta si dc as mai face odata tot asa as pati?
